Electronic Payment Gateways

In order to accept credit cards online you need to have a merchant account and an electronic payment gateway.

An electronic payment gateway is the virtual connectivity between your website and the transaction processor (FDIS for example). FDIS takes the transaction and sends it to the associations (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) to the issuing bank to obtain an authorization an secure funds.

FDIS is compatible with the LinkPoint Secure Payment Gateway, Verisign's Payflow Services, Authorizenet.com Electronic Gateway, and Yahoo!® Small Business Solutions.
