Verisign's Recurring Billing Services

How it Works

It's fast and easy. You simply create "customer profiles" via the VeriSign Manager, or if you're a Payflow Pro user, you can also set profiles up via the Payflow Pro Software Development Kit (SDK). These customer profiles include customer name and billing information, as well as the amount and frequency to be charged to your customer's credit card. The customer profile information is securely stored and managed by VeriSign, so you don't have to worry about data storage and maintenance. All transactions are processed using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology, the industry standard for secure processing. The amount you have specified will be charged to your customer's account according to the profile you have set up, and an optional e-mail will be sent to your customer every time their account is charged. You also have the option of receiving a summary e-mail to help you monitor your recurring billing transactions.

Management of your profiles is simple yet powerful. VeriSign has integrated the Recurring Billing Service into the VeriSign Manager, so you can manage your customer profiles and all of your VeriSign account features in one place. If you're a Payflow Pro user, you have the added option of using the SDK to set up your Recurring Billing management features for maximum flexibility and customization.
