Yahoo!® provides a Payment Gateway for those merchants that use Yahoo!® Small Business Merchant Solutions. A payment gateway is NOT a merchant account. It is merely the software that communicates a cardholder’s credit card information to the merchant account provider. If you are using the Yahoo!® Payment Gateway you must also have a merchant account from a Merchant Account Provider that is compatible with the First Data Merchant Services (FDMS) Nashville platform.
